Coming to Out & Wild Festival for the first time?

Z50_5663A

Got lots of questions about Out & Wild, still thinking about booking? Here are some of the most common questions we get.

And don't forget we have lots of returners (and many who will be coming for their third year!) so don't be shy and feel free to ask questions on our Festival Facebook Group!

Can I come solo?

Yes, of course you can. In fact, according to our research, more than 30% of attendees come on their own. All our experiences and activities during the day are designed to help connect you with like-minded others.

We will be run some introductory games on Friday at 1pm AND will have 2 x solo meet ups on Friday and Saturday evening.

PLUS we have recently introduced Regional leads who will be running pre-festival meet ups across the UK. You can find then by asking on our Festival Facebook Group.

I have never camped before?

You do not need to be an experienced camper to come to Out & Wild. We have a great campsite next to the Festival site, with sinks, proper toilets and HOT showers. We even have a cafe that opens at 7am (as well as food vendors on the festival site).

We have charging points and full wifi.

We will be publishing a fuller article on what to bring in the next few weeks.

OR you can rent out a glamping tent from our partners at Belle Hotel. They come fully fitted with proper beds and bedding. You can rent with a double or twin beds.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes, you can, but only in the campsite. We ask you to be respectful of our traders and NOT bring food or drink onto the festival site. We will have stewards who will be doing spot checks on this.

Most people bring a few essentials and buy their meals from our traders. We will have at least 4 food outlets (including an open all day cafe) and have vegan and gluten free options.

We will have 2 x bars and 2 x places you can buy hot drinks and coffee.

You can check out food and drink HERE.

How do I get to you?

Most people drive to come to the Festival, and we do have a large car park. We will be adding full directions very soon and there will be good signage in the village.

You can also come by train to Narberth, where we will be running a mini bus pick up and drop off service on Friday and Monday (for a small fee each way).

We will also be opening a #liftshare option on our facebook pages.

What happens during the day?

We have 4 main zones; Wellness & Workouts, Sports & Hikes, Spoken Word & Talks and Workshops. Most activities are just turn up, a few like wild swimming, daily hikes and forest bathing are bookable, and a few will have a small charge.

We are still adding to our packed timetable, but you can see who is coming on our Line Up page.

We will be opening up for booking in April and leave a few slots open for the weekend.

We will release a full timetable in April.

We have an info point next to the cafe, this is manned during the day for any questions and it will also have updated timetables.

What happens in the evening?

We will be kick off our evening entertainment at 7pm. This starts with a hour of DJ music, combined with solo meet ups in our main marquee.

Expect open mic sessions (for poetry and music) followed by a showcase of fantastic female and non-binary acts. We will also be having a Comedy Hour on Saturday.

We end Friday and Saturday evening with our infamous Silent DJ sets. And for 2024 we will also have a covered bar area if dancing is not your thing. On Sunday evening, after our acts we have a huge campfire get together, with many of the acts you have seen, coming along to perform!

What do past attendees say?

We are proud to get such good feedback on our festival, with almost 100% of attendees saying they would recommend us in our post event survey.

'The most heart warming friendly and happy festival I have ever been to. Honestly, it was probably the best weekend of my life. I am so overcome with emotion when I think out how incredible it was for me. I felt such overwhelming joy and peace at Out & Wild which I don't think could be replicated by any other experience '

'WOW…couldn’t have been better, what a fabulous experience and setting. A place I’ll hold forever in my heart. Loved all the fab events.'

'My first festival …incredible location with some great walking, tennis, dancing and meeting new people. I’m already looking forward to next year.'
