Craniosacral treatment with Linda

Hi, my name is Linda,

I studied and qualified in integrative craniosacral therapy at the College of Craniosacral Therapy in London, with Thomas Atlee. I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (fht.org.uk).

I have been working in complementary therapies - including massage, sports massage and Reiki - for about 15 years and I bring this experience into my work with you.

Craniosacral therapy is gentle, yet very powerful. It supports you in your own healing, as the therapist uses a light touch to enable you to address physical and emotional pain, including chronic illnesses, trauma, anxiety and stress.

Over time, as our bodies and minds experience the stresses and strains of life, we can feel less and less able to cope. We may develop chronic illnesses, autoimmune disorders, pain and emotional distress.

Our own natural resources can feel depleted and we would like to feel supported, nourished and restored. Our bodies and minds hold the memories of previous accidents, injuries and illnesses, even from childhood, so together we aim to enhance your own underlying potential for health and wellbeing by treating you as a whole person with your own life story.

How can craniosacral therapy help you?

Craniosacral therapy can help you to feel ready to deal with whatever you are facing – physically, mentally and emotionally.

Craniosacral therapy can support you through periods of stress and anxiety, as well as trauma that is just surfacing or long standing. Craniosacral therapy can help with a wide range of conditions including migraines, headaches and tinnitus, back problems, sciatica, digestive disturbances, neck pain, aching shoulders and joints.

It can also help support you if you are living with cancer, ME or fibromyalgia as well as many other conditions. The craniosacral therapist listens to your body and whatever issues arise during the session so that together we can address pain, discomfort, stress and anxiety.

What happens during a session?

You will be fully clothed and lie down on a treatment couch. It’s important that you feel comfortable, so you may choose to have a blanket to feel cosy, and a pillow or two. The craniosacral therapist will use a light touch on the head, lower back and sacrum, or other parts of the body, such as the

chest and solar plexus. Most people will feel relaxed and some will even fall asleep. Others may experience warmth, tingling, releases and adjustments as change takes place in their own body systems.

The price for a 50-minute treatment is £50.
