Meet Aleisha (she/her), aka Homesong.love, leading chanting/kirtan practices this weekend! Kirtan and mantra chanting are heart-centred practices of Bhakti yoga, fostering self and communal connection. Mantra, meaning 'mind instrument' in Sanskrit, aids in focus and mind training, discovered during my yoga training and now integral to my life. Kirtan, devotional singing often with a Harmonium, uses Sanskrit and deity names to evoke energies within us. It's a call-and-response, inclusive, and meditative practice. No experience needed; everyone's welcome to chant, sing, or simply be present. Let's connect and chant together this weekend! Ruth acknowledges and respects the cultural heritage of Kirtan.

In life we will find fears. It is how we let them influence us that shapes who we are!. Learning to balance on our hands cultivates an ability to face our fears and learn to fly. Learn anatomy, alignment and take home exercises to build a fun and fulfilling inversion practice.

Hatha yoga originated in India more than 5000 years ago and was originally taught as a healing system for the mind and to prepare the body for seated meditation. In Hatha yoga, a series of asanas (poses) are practiced together with breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation. My classes include a series of postures and gentle stretches connected in a slow flow that guides you into deep relaxation, through fun and light-hearted sequences. Attention is paid to the breath, used as a calming and grounding tool. My classes are suitable for beginners with plenty of options and modifications offered. It’s also appropriate for any other advanced yogini or yogi who wants a calming, relaxing class that will leave you feeling energised and, at the same time, rested.

SATURDAY 1ST JUNE

In this session you will use an active warm up to open and release stuck or heavy energy or Qi from your body, making space for the fresh bright life force energy to flow with ease.

The Meditation sessions are inspired by direct experience and include non-dual pointers, pranayama, Tantrik practices, somatic practices, self inquiry, mantra and sound practices. The sessions are intuitively and organically designed for the state of yoga to be revealed.

I'm fascinated by the intersection between the 'following' and 'leading' roles in the dance, how these are often perceived through stereotypical ideas of femininity and masculinity - and how we can subvert or 'play' with them. For me, dancing tango is also a meditative practice. I enjoy introducing tango to more people, and my current project is organising a women's dual-role Practica in the South-West.

Embark on a transformative journey at Out and Wild with Sam's captivating session, where she guides participants through a profound Conscious Connected Breathwork experience. This immersive breathing technique seamlessly helps you foster a profound sense of connection and inner healing. Harnessing the innate power of breath, we infuse each session with positive intention, channeling energies towards personal growth and renewal. Participants often liken the experience to "Meditation on Steroids," as it delves into the depths of one's being, facilitating profound healing and blissful revelations. Emotions flow freely, leading to a beautiful and cathartic release unlike any other. Following the breathwork journey, attendees will convene to explore the revelations unearthed during the session, delving into the intricacies of relationships. At the core of every connection lies the relationship we nurture with ourselves. Through introspection and discussion, we'll illuminate the importance of deep intuition in fostering meaningful connections, both with ourselves and others.

For Contemplate & Embody we'll focus on an energy, contemplate it and embody it through practice integrating the wisdom of all 8 limbs of yoga. I'll offer multiple ways that you can creatively connect with and explore the energy through the magic of yoga. At Teapot yoga we centre disability justice and strive to teach yoga creatively so that every person can access the energy we are looking to connect with and cultivate. There will be chairs and mats available, I will demonstrate using both. In the session I'll include elements of yoga philosophy, ethics, social justice theory and practice. You'll find that these sessions tend to be themed around what's currently going on in the world, whether that's a particular social justice issue, elements of nature, the season we are in, the lunar cycle and more. We'll have time to discuss our experience as well as engage in some creative practice. Everything I offer is an invitation, it's about finding the ways that work for you.

Limited chairs so please bring your own chair. I really want to create an accessible space for you all. I’ll be using beautiful traditional hatha style yoga, seated in a chair. We can delve collectively into slow movement, some held postures, relaxation, breathing techniques and maybe a bit of meditation and mantra. Come along, be comfy, let’s see where we go! Suitable for everyone.

If you don't think yoga is for you then come over to the Yinside! This is a floor based practice designed to bring you calm, with physical, as well as mental benefits. If you have never done any yoga before then this is a perfect place to start, and if you are an experienced yogi then this will bring you a moment of calm in the weekend's experience. Make sure you are wearing comfortable clothing and bring an extra jumper, towel or blanket for comfort.

Faye specialises and geeks out on building joint health, connection to your body and control over movement. You’ll learn how to reconnect to your body, self-assess what areas are feeling ‘tight’ or restricted and how you can live pain-free. Anyone can do it, the session is adapted for complete beginners to advanced movers.

Book via the bookable experiences page. Katie is often asked if Forest Bathing involves special clothing or nudity. It doesn't! Originating from Japan as Shinrin Yoku, it's a method recognised for its stress-relieving and health-promoting effects. Unlike a simple walk in nature, guided forest bathing sessions led by trained guides offer structured invitations, akin to a yoga class, encouraging deeper immersion and relaxation. There is plenty of room for flexibility and doing what you want to do during your session. Just as a yoga teacher will ask you to feel into what feels right for you and to adjust your position if it doesn’t feel right – so too can you decline invitations and have time to explore the forest how you feel. While participants can still explore freely, these invitations provide gentle guidance for a more focused experience. With scientifically proven benefits like reducing stress, improving sleep, and boosting the immune system, dedicating 2-3 hours to forest bathing monthly is recommended for long-lasting well-being.

In this transformative Somatic Activated Healing spiritual workout session, Tania will lead you through a journey of ecstatic dance and movement, a therapy of physical and emotional release focusing on connecting to Self and love and being with the feelings in our body. Using a radical combination of trauma-informed, evidence-based healing modalities that engage the body to heal the mind (a ‘bottom-up’ approach), we’ll engage in targeted somatic movements, rhythmic breathwork, dynamic meditation, liberating ecstatic dance, affirming mantra chanting and primal sounding. This combination of practices activates muscle groups and energy flow, facilitating a gentle yet deep release of emotional residue and blocks that result from past experiences and trauma, releasing chronic stress that can affect thoughts, emotions and actions. Please come along and ‘bring it’ all to the dancefloor, because this isn’t just any ol’ wellness experience, but a battleground for personal and collective liberation. Embrace this powerful movement toward unconditional, unapologetic self-love with Tania and tap into the energy to claim what you rightfully deserve. You're worth it! Note: All are welcome to join, where fun and joy is the priority! Regardless of body type, ability, or fitness level, Tania’s own fat, hairy, sexy, mixed body invites you to come and laugh, cry, sweat and scream, all whilst discovering the ecstasy of freedom together. Please come in clothes that make you feel good… anything that lets you show off your jiggles and/or keeps your jiggly bits supported. Most important is that you feel comfy enough to move freely… and please bring your yoga mat if you want to lay down at any point.

A unique and powerful passive meditation experience suitable for all. Bring a yoga mat (or camping mat) blanket (or sleeping bag), cushion and wear comfy clothes.

Yoga Nidra is a practice for deep relaxation but also awakened clarity. It is a guided meditation designed to take you deeply into the layers of your consciousness, and allow you to experience meditative states unlike anything you will have known before if this is your first time. Make sure you have warm clothes, maybe a blanket or pillow so you can forget your body and get into your mind.

SUNDAY 2ND JUNE

In this session you will use an active warm up to open and release stuck or heavy energy or Qi from your body, making space for the fresh bright life force energy to flow with ease.

The workshop starts at the very beginning. We come into a comfortable seated position so we can focus on our breathing. The 3-part yoga breath, so useful for soothing ourselves, is introduced. There is a seated foundational sequence to get us moving. We listen to our bodies and can pause and take rest whenever that feels right. Then we will experience a variety of yoga postures (called asanas in the Sanskrit language). Each posture is taken in stages - yoga really is for everyone, every age, every ability. The session ends with a period of relaxation which is often a favourite with folk. We are encouraged to settle down, keep warm, and be guided by Heather to a place of peace.

Lindy Hop is an African-American partner dance originating in the late 1920s Jazz Era. For the most part, it was developed in ballrooms across the USA – most notably The Savoy Ballroom in Harlem, New York. The dance’s popularity peaked in the mid-1940s and was featured often as a speciality act in many Hollywood movies such as Hellzapoppin’. Original dancers Al Minns, Frankie Manning and Norma Miller seeded the resurgence in the late 1980’s. The Lindy Hop continues to be enjoyed worldwide.

Our Breath is our hidden super power, by changing the way we breathe, we change the way we think, feel and act. Come and join me for this morning session, you will be amazed at the releases you can experience with this simple practice. We will begin with a guided meditation together, followed by an introduction to the process, we will then do some movement to open, shake and wake up the body and our breathing before we begin the breath journey. We will be using a simple breathing technique known as conscious connected breathing, that activates the nervous system and helps create new neural pathways in the brain. When we breathe in this pattern, we begin to enter into an altered state of consciousness which allows us to release stored emotions and trauma in both the physical and energetic body. If you’re looking to release stress and create more space for joy, peace and love then these sessions are for you. It’s Simple! Smile, Breathe and follow your Heart!
