In person strength workshop
Overview
A weekend based in Stroud for LGBTQIA+ women and those who are non-binary to learn about the basic principles of strength training. We will have sole use of CrossFit Stonehouse on Saturday afternoon. Either join us just for the gym or make a weekend of it with Saturday & Sunday morning coffee & input in Stroud. We will car-share from Stroud to the gym. You will learn how to train with freeweights including dumbbells, kettlebells & barbell lifts. How to train for body weight exercises, e.g. press ups & pull ups. And gain a basic introduction to Olympic Weightlifting. All welcome, from no prior experience to lots of experience! We will also cover some mindset work on overcoming fears linked to training in the gym or with free weights. Bring all the questions you have and prepare to enjoy!
