Out & Wild in the City - Beat the Jan Blues Night - 26th January Lower - Lower Third, Denmark Street, London
A new night for lesbian, bi, trans and queer women and nb folks, allies welcome
Overview
It's about time we had a great space back in Soho (remember First Out?) We are delighted to be launching a new series of nights in Soho, at an amazing new venue, just 150 metres from Tottenham Court Road Tube. Think live music and DJ sets. A chance to beat the dating and friendship apps and mix and mingle in real life. There is a stage, dance floor and a snug area. For our launch night we will have the amazing Ariela on the decks plus a special guest musician to kick off the celebrations. We will be open from 7pm to 11pm.
Hosts
Out & Wild
Out & Wild is the UK's biggest Festival for LGBTQIA+ women and those who are non-binary. We also now run year round residential and camping retreats and weekenders across the UK.
Ariela
Ariela learnt to mix on the decks of the legendary Turnmills club back in the 90s, playing vinyl and mingling with DJs like Tony de Vit & Blu Peter.
Having held many residencies at clubs such as Renegades, REW, Warriors & Kaos, Ariela recently came out of retirement for her new residency at @FLIRRT London and has since been asked to play at many other LGBTQ club nights!
Natalie Gray
Described as the love child of the 1975 and Madonna, Natalie Gray will have you on your feet dancing like it's 1989. Natalie guarantees epic guitar solos, all the synths and a lot of colour! Natalie has toured the UK with her band supporting artists such as Becky Hill at Pride in London, Rag'n'Bone Man at Penn Fest and Ellie Dixon at Matchstick. Natalie also put on her own music tour in association with Women's Aid, performing alongside artists such as Billy Lockett, Sody and Push Baby. Her music has been streamed collectively over 75 million times, from Celebs Go Dating to BBC Radio One. Natalie has also worked with charities such as Stonewall, Women’s Aid and Prostate Cancer, releasing non profit music to help make the world a safer and healthier place for all.
Natalie is a proud ally for the LGBTQ+ community as well as a huge advocate for taking away the taboo on talking about mental health, especially in the music industry.
