In September 2023 Out & Wild, IMPROPER agency and Out to Swim launched the first ever official Pride Swim.
Our queer led and designed pilot was a sell out success!
For 2024 we will be rolling out Pride Swims across the UK, working with Love Open Water, London Marathon Events, Swim England and a soon to be announced national leisure centre partner.
AND we will be raising money for LGBTQ+ charity Switchboard in their 50th year.
The Swims are all about connecting the community and supporting wellbeing.
For 2024 we will have 20 swims across the UK.
These include swims in open water, leisure centres and sea swims.
They are open to all, whatever your level and however you identify.
And the leisure centre swims will have a big family focus.
Everyone who takes part gets a medal and a branded swim hat.
Our partners so far are Swim England, London Marathon Events and British Swimming and we will be announcing sponsors very soon.
