Overview

This fully catered weekend is designed around the idea of slowing down, resting, and restoring during the colder months. Rather than focusing on productivity or intense fitness, it emphasizes comfort, reflection, intentions, gentle movement, and connection. Think of it as embracing the season instead of pushing through it. There will be a focus on rest and reflection and setting intentions; breathwork, guided visualisation, vision board making, intention setting and journaling; gentle movement, sound baths, dawn and dusk walks in the beautiful countryside. Great home cooked food and cosy evenings with new connections. Plus optional saunas and massages. We are taking over the whole of a coach house, small cottage and beautiful function room. There are mainly shared rooms, with options for campervans and motorhomes. All bathrooms are shared. There are 5showers rooms and 3 separate wcs. The location is Bore Place, a beautiful 500-acre, regeneratively managed historic site and charitable organisation, just an hour from London. As a charity, their mission is to care for the land and inspire people to live happy, healthy and sustainable lives. Led by Polly Shute, founder of Out & Wild and expert leads in breathwork and sound baths.

Highlights

01 Manifesting, with vision board making

02 Gentle movement, including sound baths

03 Optional Massages, sauna and plunge pools (note massages are extra)

04 Dawn and Dusk walks

01 Manifesting, with vision board making

We start by putting things down, journaling on the year behind you, what you're proud of, and what took more than it gave. Only then do we turn to what you actually want more of, and why: not resolutions, but the handful of things that make you feel most like yourself. After lunch there's a guided visualisation — blankets, low light, a slow walk through a day in your life a year from now and then two unhurried hours of making, with materials spread across the tables and the option to work in silence or in company. You'll finish by showing your board to one other person and naming one thing you'll do in the next month, written on the back so it travels home with you. No experience needed. You will all get a journal.

02 Gentle movement, including sound baths

We will have gentle guided accessible sessions, including a sound bath.

03 Optional Massages, sauna and plunge pools (note massages are extra)

Treat yourself to the benefits of a complimentary sauna and cold plunge. Plus you can book piad massages.

04 Dawn and Dusk walks

Join us for optional walks at dawn and dusk around the beautiful estate

Venue

Bore Place

Bore Place is situated on a private 500-acre organically managed estate in rolling Kent countryside. It is the ideal spot to get away from it all and disconnect and rejuvenate. It is only a short drive from the pretty towns of Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells and an hour from London, yet it is a haven of peace and stillness that feels a world away from the hectic pace of day to day life.

Bore Place is a non-profit organisation that believes in a world where people and the natural world work together to regenerate the environment and ourselves.

The 19th-century Old Stable offers accommodation for up to 25 guests, with 11 bedrooms and 4 bath/shower rooms. The property features a spacious living room with a log burner, a large dining room, and a generously sized separate kitchen, making it ideal for group gatherings.

The downstairs of the property is wheelchair-friendly, offering a fully accessible bedroom and bathroom. Nestled at the heart of the Bore Place Estate, guests can enjoy the charming courtyard garden, which includes fruit trees, a water feature, a picnic table, and a firepit—perfect for alfresco meals and evening gatherings.
